Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 1 package slider buns
  • 1 pound ground beef (Halal-certified) You can substitute with ground chicken or turkey for a leaner option.
  • 1 cup marinara sauce Choose your favorite brand or homemade.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For a gooey cheese pull.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about one inch in diameter, yielding approximately 12 meatballs.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
  2. Gently place the meatballs in the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Slice the slider buns in half and layer the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Place the cooked meatballs on top, spoon the marinara sauce over them, and finish with shredded mozzarella.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns over the meatballs and cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
