  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the lemon instant pudding mix and cold milk. Whisk until smooth and the mixture slightly thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the cup of whipped cream gently, and fold it into the pudding until fully combined, maintaining the airy texture.
  3. In a trifle bowl or any glass dish, start with a layer of graham cracker crumbs at the bottom. Follow this with a layer of the lemon cream mixture. Repeat the layers until ingredients are used up, with the final layer being lemon cream.
  4. Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to allow flavors to meld and texture to set.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle lemon zest on top for a pop of color and flavor.

Notes

For a twist, try using different flavored pudding mixes like vanilla or mixed berry. Avoid overmixing the whipped cream to keep it fluffy.
