- In a mixing bowl, combine the lemon instant pudding mix and cold milk. Whisk until smooth and the mixture slightly thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cup of whipped cream gently, and fold it into the pudding until fully combined, maintaining the airy texture.
- In a trifle bowl or any glass dish, start with a layer of graham cracker crumbs at the bottom. Follow this with a layer of the lemon cream mixture. Repeat the layers until ingredients are used up, with the final layer being lemon cream.
- Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to allow flavors to meld and texture to set.
- Before serving, sprinkle lemon zest on top for a pop of color and flavor.
Notes
For a twist, try using different flavored pudding mixes like vanilla or mixed berry. Avoid overmixing the whipped cream to keep it fluffy.
