Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, milk, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined—do not overmix.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan or form it into a loaf shape on a lined baking sheet.
- Spread the marinara sauce evenly on top of the meatloaf.
Baking
- Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Once done, let the meatloaf sit for about 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For added flavor and moisture, consider incorporating finely chopped vegetables like bell peppers or onions into the mixture. Freeze individual slices for longer storage.
