  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs can be used for more flavor.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce For topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, milk, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined—do not overmix.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan or form it into a loaf shape on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Spread the marinara sauce evenly on top of the meatloaf.
Baking
  1. Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Once done, let the meatloaf sit for about 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For added flavor and moisture, consider incorporating finely chopped vegetables like bell peppers or onions into the mixture. Freeze individual slices for longer storage.
