  • 1.5 pounds steak, cubed (such as sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Preparation
  1. Start by cubing your steak into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a skillet, add the olive oil and heat on medium-high. Sear the steak pieces for about 3-4 minutes until they’re browned on the outside.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Combine it with your cubed steak in the skillet.
  4. Transfer your seared steak into your crockpot. Then, pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently to mix.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once ready, serve warm, optionally garnishing with fresh herbs.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. For reheating, use a skillet over low heat to retain tenderness.
