Ingredients
  

For the fish
  • 4 pieces Walleye fillets About 1 pound total
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For greasing and drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. Place the walleye fillets in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Baking
  1. Transfer the dish to the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Serving
  1. Remove the dish from the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve hot with sautéed vegetables or rice.

Notes

If you can't find walleye, substitute with any white fish fillet like cod or haddock. Bake times may vary, so start checking at the 10-minute mark. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
