  1. Wash the cucumber and cantaloupe thoroughly. Peel the cucumber and slice it in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds if present and cut it into thin half-moon slices.
  2. Cut the cantaloupe in half and remove the seeds. Use a melon baller or a sharp knife to scoop out the flesh and make bite-sized cubes.
Combining Ingredients
  1. In a large serving bowl, combine the sliced cucumber and melon cubes.
  2. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the salad, and add a sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste. Toss gently to ensure that everything is evenly coated.
