Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Steam the broccoli florets for about 3-4 minutes, then chop finely.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Using your hands, take small portions of the mixture and shape into bite-sized balls or patties.
- Arrange the shaped bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Lightly spray with olive oil.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool briefly before serving.
