Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls Use your favorite brand.
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced Choose sweet and juicy apples.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Use more if desired for extra flavor.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Packed brown sugar works best.
  • 1/4 cup apple juice Use fresh apple juice for better flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by peeling, coring, and slicing your apples. Set them aside.
  2. Lightly grease your crockpot with some cooking spray or a little oil.
Layering
  1. Begin by placing the sliced apples at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ground cinnamon and brown sugar evenly over the apples.
  3. Pour the refrigerated cinnamon rolls over the apple mixture, evenly distributed.
  4. Drizzle the apple juice over the cinnamon rolls and cover the crockpot with the lid.
Cooking
  1. Set the crockpot on low for about 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the cinnamon rolls are fully cooked and soft.
  2. Avoid lifting the lid too often to maintain the heat.
Serving
  1. Once done, gently pull apart the cinnamon rolls to serve warm.
  2. Optionally, drizzle icing on top or enjoy them as is.

Notes

Consider substituting refrigerated cinnamon rolls for homemade dough to elevate flavors. Keep an eye on them and avoid lifting the lid frequently.
