- Lower the heat and gently stir in the heavy cream, simmering for about 5 minutes to meld all the flavors.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Toss in your cooked pasta of choice and mix it well with the sauce, or serve the sauce over the pasta. Garnish with fresh basil and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
This Creamy Tomato Pasta Sauce can be refrigerated for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container. Reheat gently over low heat, adding a splash of water or additional cream if needed.
