Cooking Steps
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions, usually around 2–3 minutes, or until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and no longer pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in the Italian seasoning and let it simmer gently for about 3-4 minutes.
- Gently fold in the cooked gnocchi until well coated in the creamy sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Plate your Creamy Garlic Chicken Gnocchi Delight, topping it with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
Notes
For substitutes, use any Halal-approved pasta if gnocchi isn’t available. Keep an eye on the garlic to avoid bitterness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat on low heat, adding water or cream if the sauce thickens.
