Preparation
- Gather all your ingredients. Ensure the cream cheese is softened; you can leave it out for about 30 minutes beforehand or microwave it for a few seconds to soften.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and chocolate hazelnut spread. Using an electric mixer or a whisk, blend them together until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the heavy cream and vanilla extract to the mixture. Continue blending until it becomes light and fluffy, with no lumps remaining. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl for even mixing.
- Taste the dip and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more chocolate hazelnut spread.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Top it off with chopped hazelnuts for extra crunch and serve with fresh fruits, pretzels, or your preferred dippers.
Notes
If you want to try variations, substitute chocolate hazelnut spread with almond butter for a nutty twist. The dip is best enjoyed right after making it, but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the microwave for about 10 seconds if desired.
