Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies Regular or Halal-approved cookies can be used.
  • 0.25 cups melted butter Ensure it's fully melted for better mixing.
For the filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 0.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip For a lighter filling texture.
For topping
  • 0.5 cups crushed cookies To sprinkle on top.
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge or ganache (optional) Drizzle over the pie for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with melted butter until well-coated. Press into the bottom and sides of a pie dish to form a crust.
  3. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes to set, then let it cool completely.
Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until fully combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until smooth and fluffy.
Assembly
  1. Once the crust is cool, pour the creamy filling into the crust and smooth the top.
  2. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until the filling is set.
Serving
  1. Once set, top the pie with remaining crushed cookies and drizzle some chocolate fudge or ganache if desired.
  2. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Avoid freezing to maintain texture. For a vegan version, use vegan cream cheese and whipped alternatives.
