- Open the package of cinnamon rolls and unroll each one. Flatten the dough slightly with a rolling pin or your hands.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
- Take a flattened cinnamon roll, dip it into the custard mixture, making sure it’s fully covered, and then carefully roll it up.
Cooking
- In a non-stick skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat.
- Place the roll-ups seam-side down in the skillet. Cook each side for about 2-3 minutes until they’re golden brown and warmed through.
Serving
- Remove from the skillet and let any excess oil drip off. Serve fresh with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a lactose-free version, substitute milk with a dairy-free alternative. Ensure the roll-ups are tightly rolled to prevent unraveling during cooking.
