Ingredients
  

For the Peanut Butter Layer
  • 1 cup peanut butter Use creamy peanut butter for easy layering.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Salt to taste Salt
For the Chocolate Layer
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Melted for the layers.
Optional Ingredients
  • Graham cracker crumbs as needed Graham cracker crumbs For layering on top.

Preparation
  1. Start by melting your chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until completely smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Line a small baking dish or tray with parchment paper. Pour half of the melted chocolate into the bottom and spread evenly to create a thin layer.
  4. Spread the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate layer, smoothing it out.
  5. Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, ensuring it covers it completely.
  6. Place your dish in the refrigerator for at least an hour, or until the chocolate has fully set.
  7. Once set, cut into squares or rectangles. Optionally, sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top before serving for a delightful crunch.

Notes

These treats can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
