- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and milk. Stir until the cocoa is completely dissolved.
- Add the honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract. Give it another stir to ensure that everything is well-mixed.
- Fold in the mini marshmallows gently. You want them distributed evenly throughout but still fluffy.
- Transfer the mixture into jars or airtight containers. Seal them and place them in the refrigerator overnight (or for at least 4 hours).
- In the morning, give your oats a gentle stir, add a sprinkle of chocolate chips on top, and enjoy! You can add more milk if you prefer a creamier texture.
Notes
You can store your Chocolate Marshmallow Overnight Oats in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to five days. If you want to freeze them, they will last up to three months. Just leave out the toppings until you’re ready to serve!
