Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats and salt, mixing well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir carefully until oats are coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on a lined baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even browning.
  2. Once golden and crispy, let it cool for 5 minutes, then sprinkle the chocolate chips.
  3. Allow the granola to cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the oven if desired for a crunchy texture.
