Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well, and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet or wok.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, and stir for about 30 seconds.
- Toss in the sliced bell pepper and onion, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender.
- Add beef broth to the skillet and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Serve the beef hot, garnished with freshly chopped green onions.
