  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into pieces Ensure the chicken is Halal-compliant.
For the marinade
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Low-sodium soy sauce can be used as a healthier option.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Can substitute with vegetable oil if preferred.
  • 1 tbsp honey Adds a touch of sweetness.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
For garnish
  • to taste Fresh parsley Adds color and flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces for even cooking and flavor absorption.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken pieces and let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces, ensuring they are spread evenly.
  2. Sauté the chicken for about 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until it's golden and fully cooked.
  3. Once cooked, remove the skillet from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot over rice or alongside your favorite vegetables.

Notes

For added texture, consider including fresh vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli. Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F. Marinate overnight for deeper flavor.
