Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Salad
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded You can use canned chicken or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Adjust the amount to your preference.
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup red grapes, halved
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the Sandwich
  • 4 large croissants Fresh croissants enhance the experience.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, diced celery, and halved red grapes. Stir well until everything is coated with mayonnaise.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
Assembling the Sandwiches
  1. Slice each croissant in half horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken salad mixture onto the bottom half of each croissant.
  3. Add fresh lettuce leaves above the chicken salad for an added crunch.
  4. Close the croissant and repeat the process for all.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately, or refrigerate them for later enjoyment.

Notes

Store leftover sandwiches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For best results, eat fresh as croissants lose flakiness over time. If reheating, do so gently in the oven.
