- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked egg noodles, cream of chicken soup, milk, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Generously sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are bubbling and the cheese is golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For substitutions, use leftover turkey instead of chicken or try different mixed vegetables like broccoli or corn. Monitor the casserole for the last 5-10 minutes to avoid burning.
