  • 2 cups cooked pasta (such as rotini or bowtie)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced make sure it’s Halal
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • Croutons, for topping add just before serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, adding a pinch of salt for flavor. Drain and let it cool.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, dice the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta and diced chicken. Add the Caesar dressing and mix until well-coated.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped romaine lettuce and grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Top with croutons just before serving to maintain their crispness.

Notes

For a lighter option, swap the Caesar dressing for a Greek yogurt-based dressing. Make the salad just before serving to keep the lettuce fresh.
