Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Ensure it's Halal and fresh.
  • 4 slices garlic bread Toast until golden brown and crispy.
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese Can substitute with other types of cheese.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other burger toppings as desired

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form it into 4 equal patties.
  2. Try not to overwork the meat; this will keep your burgers juicy!
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the beef patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.
  2. Flip the patties to cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes, or until your desired doneness is reached.
  3. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cover the skillet with a lid to help the cheese melt beautifully.
Toasting Garlic Bread
  1. While the patties are finishing, toast your garlic bread in the oven or on a separate skillet until golden brown and crispy.
Assembly
  1. Once the patties are cooked and cheesy, place each on a slice of garlic bread.
  2. Add your desired toppings such as lettuce and tomato, and finish with another slice of garlic bread on top.
Serving
  1. Share with your favorite people, and watch them marvel at your culinary skills!

Notes

If you prefer a different protein, try chicken or turkey; ensure they are Halal. For a vegan version, use plant-based patties. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
