Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Fold in the shredded cheese to ensure it is evenly distributed in the dough.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and eggs until thoroughly mixed.
- Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay!
Baking
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Freeze slices individually in plastic wrap followed by foil for up to 2 months. Reheat slices in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-12 minutes for best results.
