Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your doughnut pan.

  3. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the melted brown butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and buttermilk. Use a whisk to mix until thoroughly combined.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula until just combined.
  6. Transfer the batter into a piping bag or a zipper plastic bag with the corner snipped off. Fill the doughnut molds about halfway full.
  7. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
