Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (optional for added texture) Optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen) Make sure they are Halal compliant
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Add-ins
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional) Skip if nut allergies are a concern

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking dish (9×9 inches) or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond flour (if using), cinnamon, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the honey or maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 10 minutes. Slice into bars and enjoy!

Notes

You can customize the sweetener, make it nut-free, or add different spices like nutmeg or cardamom for an aromatic twist. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
