  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk Substitute with almond milk for a dairy-free option.
Fruits
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries Gently fold in to avoid crushing.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter and milk until blended.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the blueberries carefully.
Baking
  1. Pour the mixture into an 8-inch or 9-inch round baking dish.
  2. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden.
Serving
  1. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing into wedges.
  2. Drizzle with honey or serve with syrup if desired.

Notes

For best results, store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
