Ingredients

For the dessert layers
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Fresh mixed berries of your choice
  • 1 cup heavy cream Ensure it's cold for easier whipping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Can substitute with honey for a healthier version
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Can use Greek yogurt for a tangy twist
  • 1/2 cup granola Choose your favorite variety for added flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by washing and gently drying your mixed berries. If using strawberries, slice them into smaller pieces, ensuring you have evenly mixed fruit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, pour in the heavy cream. Using an electric mixer or whisk, beat the cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until the cream thickens to a desired consistency.
  3. In another bowl, blend the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually fold in the whipped cream mixture until fully combined.
  4. In a serving dish or individual cups, start by adding a layer of granola at the bottom. Then, add a layer of the cream mixture followed by a generous layer of mixed berries. Repeat this process until all components are used, ending with a layer of berries on top.
  5. Cover your dessert and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled, and enjoy the delightful layers!
