  • 4 pieces chicken thighs Use bone-in skin-on for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with canola or sunflower oil.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • Fresh herbs optional for garnish Use any fresh herbs you like.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to achieve crispiness.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken thighs in a large bowl. Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken and rub the spices in.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the chicken thighs skin-side up.
Baking
  1. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden brown.
  2. Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  3. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in aluminum foil and place in a freezer bag for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) or in an air fryer for optimal texture.
