Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs Use crushed graham crackers.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the filling
  • 4 packages (8 oz) cream cheese, softened Ensure it’s at room temperature.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until combined.
  3. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add the granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
  6. Incorporate the vanilla extract.
  7. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  8. Gently fold in the sour cream and flour until everything is blended and creamy.
Baking
  1. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust, smoothing the top.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
Cooling
  1. Turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let the cheesecake cool inside for about 1 hour.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) to set.
Serving
  1. Once chilled, carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan, slice, and garnish with your favorite toppings before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature and avoid opening the oven door frequently while baking to prevent cracks. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days or freeze for longer storage.
