Method
Cooking the Noodles
- Boil a pot of salted water and cook the 200g of noodles until al dente according to package instructions (6-8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
Sautéing
- In a large skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the 4 minced garlic cloves and the sliced chillies, sauté for 2-3 minutes until the garlic is golden brown.
Combining Ingredients
- Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet and stir to coat well with the garlic and chilli oil.
- Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, mixing everything together. If the dish feels too dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed, then stir in chopped green onions before serving.
Serving
- Plate the noodles and garnish with extra green onions if desired. Enjoy hot!
Notes
For a spicier dish, add more chillies or a pinch of chili flakes. Experiment with different noodles for variety. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
