Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef You can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Optional topping.

  • 1 onion, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well but avoid overmixing.
  3. Shape the mixture into oval patties approximately ½ inch thick.
  4. Place the patties in a greased baking dish, leaving space between each for even cooking.
  5. Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the patties, spreading it evenly.
  6. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
Serving
  1. Let it cool slightly, then serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for 2-3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F until warmed through.
