Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash the blueberries thoroughly. If using frozen blueberries, let them thaw and drain excess moisture. Place the blueberries in an 8x8 inch baking dish.
Making the Topping
- In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Mix these dry ingredients well.
- Gradually pour in the melted butter, stirring until the mixture becomes crumbly.
Assembling and Baking
- Sprinkle the topping mixture evenly over the blueberries in the baking dish.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the blueberries are bubbling.
- Allow the crisp to cool slightly before serving.
