Ingredients

For the Bombs
  • 1 can apple pie filling (about 21 oz)
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 scoop Vanilla ice cream (optional, but highly recommended!)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for a few minutes.
  2. Open the can of crescent roll dough and lay it out on a clean surface. Press the seams together to form a single sheet and cut into squares, about 3 inches by 3 inches.
  3. Place a spoonful of apple pie filling in the center of each square, taking care not to overfill.
  4. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling to create a pouch and pinch the seams tightly to seal.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar. Brush the tops of each bomb with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
Cooking
  1. Place the bombs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, and cook for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Allow the bombs to cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Optionally serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For healthier options, use low-sugar pie filling. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
