Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for a few minutes.
- Open the can of crescent roll dough and lay it out on a clean surface. Press the seams together to form a single sheet and cut into squares, about 3 inches by 3 inches.
- Place a spoonful of apple pie filling in the center of each square, taking care not to overfill.
- Fold the corners of the dough over the filling to create a pouch and pinch the seams tightly to seal.
- In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar. Brush the tops of each bomb with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
Cooking
- Place the bombs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, and cook for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
- Allow the bombs to cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Optionally serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For healthier options, use low-sugar pie filling. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
